Last night we went up to Brannan’s. Brannan, Jacob and Chynell played Rock Band. We got such a kick out of watching them. Nate is quite the little drummer. He and his Aunt Chynell made a great team.

Yesterday I got a lot of little things done..like printing off pictures or mailing packages. Just little stuff that builds up and I keep putting off. It felt so good getting it all done. Now today I will do some sewing. deliver scrapbook orders and pack to go to Brannan’s tonight. I’m looking forward to going up there. We all are. That means more pictures on my xanga when we get back. It’s suppose to snow tomorrow so that will be fun too. I love snow. Now if it would just snow and not be so cold…

When Kevin and I were just married I would catch myself smiling and feeling so good every time I was making ice. You know the old way..take the ice trays out of the freezer, pop out the cubes and put them in a bucket, then fill the trays with water and put them back in the freezer. I use to take such pride in that. I felt like even the little things were such a joy for me to do, to help with our home that Kevin was providing for us. Well nothing has changed. Today Kevin is out working with the men in the church to help split wood for one family and help move another. It’s cold outside. Here I am in our warm house. I will scrapbook sometime today but for now…I did some laundry, made some muffins and got the meat defrosting for dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow…and I just feel so good inside doing all this for our family. It’s not big stuff, I don’t provide income for our family, but I love making our house our home. Yep, nothing has changed..it’s all the little stuff I just love doing.

It doesn’t take a lot to make me happy. Mainly just having my family around pretty much does it for me. The rest is just extra. This morning Kev and I were cuddled and sleeping. The phone rang and one of Kev’s friends wanted Kevin to go with him to do some stuff this morning. Kevin declined and said he was cuddled with his wife and didn’t want to move. That flat out just made my day!!!!!

it’s cold..not a little cold..just plain cold. I went to work out at 6:45 this morning and it was 30°. When I came out it was 28° and there was ice on my windshield. The rest of my day I’m staying inside. Brrr…now if it would just snow and make the cold worth it all.

This morning when I went to work out it was very early morning. The ground was covered with a thick frost. It almost looked like snow. It made such a beautiful drive. I just love that look. When I came home I was sitting at my computer in the den and outside my door you could hear a little bird singing. I caught myself sitting here and just looking out the window and smiling. ~ sigh~  a good start to my day.
